Train Wreck

I'm a train wreck
Waiting to happen
Waiting for someone to come pick me up off the tracks
A wild fire born of frustration
Waiting for the one love that will take me so high
I'll have no fear at all

I feel that I'm at the point where I can date again. Perhaps not agressively or even excitedly, but I'm ready for a relationship.

Would your love and all its finery
Tear at the darkness all around me
Until I can feel again
Until I can breathe again

It's not about the physical needs which are fulfilled in a relationship. Those are just part of the package. Right now, though I want the emotions.

Would your eyes like midnight fireflies
light up the trenches where my heart lies
until I can see again
to find my way back again

Friendship cannot saciate all of the emotions I find myself overwhelmed with.

I dont even want to talk about it anymore.
